A new work in progress. I just got done with several commisions and decided to spend the holiday working with a new set of brushes I got for adobe. I plan to tighten the illustration up but still try to keep the rough charcoal look to it and work on the feathers of her dress.

Strange question, but is there a particular reason you chose sky blue for those parts?

this probably has nothing to do with her reasoning :D lol but it kind of reminds me of Impressionist style in terms of the sky blue. When impressionism first became a trend, they avoided using solid black for shadows at all cost, and instead, they used sky blue for shaded areas :)

but that's my idea. I'm sure Liol's reason is entirely different =P
